Demand synthesis is where research turns into strategy. It is not summarizing what users said — it is reconstructing the causal chain from struggling moment to desired outcome, across enough interviews to see patterns. Good demand synthesis produces job stories that are specific enough to exclude features, not generic enough to justify anything.
