Feature Request Translation
Converting user feature requests into job stories by asking what progress the feature would enable.
Feature request translation is the skill of hearing 'I want a button that does X' and translating it into 'When [situation], I want to [motivation], so I can [outcome].' The button is not the job. The job is the progress the user would make if the button existed. Teams that build every feature request become Frankenapps.
