Progressive disclosure in AI-native products means showing simple, reliable capabilities first and revealing advanced features only as the user demonstrates readiness. This builds trust through incremental competence rather than flooding the user with options they can't yet evaluate. It is the antidote to the 'Ask Me Anything' anti-pattern, which dumps unlimited possibility on a user who doesn't yet know what to ask.
